Mercy Christian Academy is a Christ-centered small school dedicated to nourishing the hearts and minds of children through a high-quality, donor-supported Christian education. Our mission is to bear witness to the mercies of Christ by making this education accessible to every family in Shreveport, regardless of income, removing the burden of costly tuition.
We bring together students from diverse backgrounds in a nurturing environment, guiding them from Kindergarten through 5th* grade. Our loosely classical, Charlotte Mason-style curriculum is built on five educational values—Global, Restful, Original, Worshipful, and Natural—designed to satisfy a child’s thirst for knowledge and foster their growth in God.
At Mercy Christian Academy, we believe every child is created in God’s image, capable of flourishing as they embrace His truth, goodness, and love, becoming agents of renewal for our city and beyond.
*Mercy will progressively add a grade each year, to include grades K-8 for the 2027-2028 academic year.
